Since the early 1980's Captain Spider has been exploring the waterways of Chincoteague and Assateague Islands. We are blessed to be able to enjoy this area and to share it with others who come here to experience it first hand.

A number of "born heres" have adopted Captain Spider almost as a "Teaguer", which has led to many a tale of the life and times of old Chincoteague Island.
